The community art project at Danelle Plaza reflects on the local arts and music heritage of this understated corner at Mill & Southern in Tempe, Arizona. Bringing together local artists and small business owners within the Danelle community, the project’s intention is to have a visual discussion about grass root creativity within the space. Moreover, how places like Danelle Plaza, that may not at first impression look like vibrant spaces, are in fact important habitats for creative energy and innovation. We encourage visitors at Danelle Plaza to take their time exploring this unique environment and engaging with its small business owners, music venues and art spaces to gain perspective on this special place rooted in Tempe’s history and cultural heritage.
